As long as I can remember I have been drawing, painting and using my hands. From my first water color set to oils: crayons to felt tip pens: and pencils I have been trying to make something blank into something to look at. Starting off with stick figures to portraits and one dimensional to two dimensional. I have tried to keep my hands busy for most of my life. I guess I just like to make something that is colorless or plain into something vibrant! My first love with art is pointillism. I have done many drawings this way but I decided to broaden my skills with acrylic and oils.
Awards
I have not been given any awards for my artwork other than the satisfaction of seeing someone's face light up with one of my drawings or paintings. On the other hand, I don't know what kind of award it would be when I show someone my artwork and they give me a weird or dumbfounded look because they don't understand the meaning of the art.
I gues I have really never thought about an award that much. I guess someday it would be nice to receive something so I can give it to my father to show him that I didn't just waist my time all these years and you can make a living doing what you love.
