Sell Art Through Oovu
Original artwork - artists earn 75%
You can sell your original artwork by simply adding a digital photo of your original artwork to your online gallery space on Oovu. When a buyer purchases the artwork, Oovu will send you an email with the details of the sale, including the buyer's address. You must then ship the artwork to the buyer via major postal carrier with shipping insurance. Even after the original has been sold, posters and cards of the original artwork can still be sold. If a Giclee Scan has been made of the original, Giclee Renditions can also be sold.
High quality print renditions - artists earn up to 40%
Giclee Renditions: Once an order is placed for the first Giclee and a LizzaScan is required, it is your responsibility to package, insure and ship the original artwork to Lizza Fine Art Studios. After the original has been scanned, the artwork will be repackaged and shipped back to you with shipping insurance. This process will usually take three to four days. Oovu will pay for the Lizza Scan and Color True-Up (a $195.00 value) and the printing of the Giclee Renditions. In return you will grant Oovu the exclusive right to sell 100 Giclee prints. You will receive a 25% commission on the first five sales of each artwork, and a 40% commission for all subsequent sales. You will incur no cost beyond the initial shipment of your artwork to Lizza Fine Art Studios.
If no scan is required, as in the case of a digital photo, you will receive a 40% commission. All printing, packaging and shipping costs from Lizza Studios to the customer will be paid for by Oovu.
High quality poster prints - artists earn 25%
Sized Poster Prints: Once you upload a digital photo of the artwork that is of sufficient quality, you can sell Art Poster Prints. Oovu's Quality guidelines can be found here. Depending on the quality of your photo, Oovu will be able to arrange for Small (maximum paper size: 8" x 8"), Medium (maximum paper size: 16" x 16"), or Large (maximum paper size: 24" x 24") posters to be printed, framed and shipped. Oovu will pay a commission of 25% of the selling price of the poster for each sale.
Note cards - Artists earn 25%
Cards: Once you upload a digital photo of the artwork that is of sufficient quality, you can sell Art Cards. Oovu will pay a commission of 25% of the selling price for each sale. The cards are 4" x 6" Strathmore Superfine stock note cards with a print of your artwork affixed to the front. Cards can be sold in packs of ten or twenty. Oovu will arrange to have the cards printed, packaged and shipped.
