2. Update your profile
You can update your profile with your personal biography, your awards, your exhibits, and upload a profile picture. You will be able to edit your profile at any time, simply by logging in.
3. Photograph your artwork
When you upload a photograph of your original artwork to Oovu, you will choose what products you want to sell: prints, cards, Giclee, and original artwork. The quality of the image you upload to Oovu, however, will determine whether you will be able to sell prints and cards. If you do not have the equipment necessary to take high resolution digital photos, a professional photographer can help you take the pictures you need. In order to print cards and posters of your artwork, Oovu needs a digital image with a resolution between 150 dpi and 300 dpi. In addition, the photo needs to be sized appropriately:
- set of luxury note cards - your image's longest side must be at least 6"
- small poster print - your image's longest side must be at least 8"
- medium poster print - your image's longest side must be at least 16"
- large poster print - your longest side must be at least 24"
4. Upload your photos
When you log into your account, simply click on the 'upload' button, and choose files you wish to upload, one at a time. We currently accept artwork in JPG and PNG formats. You will be able to add information to images by clicking on thumbnails that appear after successfully uploading an image. This information includes your artwork's title, description, price and other details. You will also be asked to provide information relative to shipping the original artwork such as size and weight, and you will be asked to choose whether or not you want to sell cards, sized Art Posters and Giclees. When you are finished, you will add your artwork to your Oovu gallery by clicking the 'add' button. Your artwork will be visible to you immediately while you are logged in, but it will not be added to the public Oovu gallery until the Oovu team reviews artwork (this may take up to 2 business days). The approval process ensures both that your image is of high quality and that no advertisements, or otherwise inappropriate images are shown in the public gallery.
5. Pricing your artwork
When you price your artwork, that price will be used to determine your commission on the original (75% of the price) as well as the price of a giclee rendition of the artwork. The chart below outlines how your artwork and any giclees, prints and cards will be priced in addition to your commission . Shipping, handling and insurance will be added to your artwork's price separately and will not be factored in to your commission.

Note: (1) Giclees with the largest dimension greater than 12” have a minimum price of $299. Giclees with the largest dimension of 12” or less have a minimum price of $159.
6. Artist Commission Payment
By the fifteenth of each month, an artist will receive a statement of all commissions earned the previous month and a check for those commissions.
